IT Outsourcing in Poland

IT Outsourcing in Europe. It turns out that Poland is the most preferred place to work and we have good reasons for that. The market is constantly developing and growing in strength, but employers also do not slow down and raise rates for Programmers. The average salary in Poland is PLN 7,560 per month. Converted to USD, it is about 1,714, at the exchange rate from 02/03/2023.

1. Gross salary vs. net salary

Please note that the above amount is the gross amount. It is subject to tax and includes allowances such as insurance and transport, as well as any benefits that are proposed by employers and are intended to be in addition to the basic salary. However, the employee usually receives a lower net salary after the mandatory tax deduction.

Polish employees can calculate their net earnings, taking into account social security contributions, income tax, pension contributions, etc. The standard net rate is adjusted for the cost of living thanks to purchasing power parity, or so-called PPP. This makes it a more accurate measure of an employee's disposable income. When factors such as inflation rates across countries or the cost of living6 are taken into account, PPP helps measure absolute purchasing power.

The average monthly salary (adjusted for PPP) in Poland is USD 2,225 per month according to the International Monetary Fund. However, the typical salary in other European Union countries exceeds USD 3,000 per month - mainly in France or Germany.

2. What are the advantages of Outsourcing in Poland?

BEST Talentpool

In Poland, education is considered one of the best in Europe. Thanks to this, we develop our experience, speak English fluently and are not afraid of challenges. Polish developers and engineers are considered one of the best in the world and often achieve high results in international competitions and coding tests. Our Experts have a strong work ethic. They work with a sense of ownership and responsibility, which makes them highly sought after. In fact, the way Polish people manage their work is often compared to developed economies like Germany, USA, UK, etc.

Extensive infrastructure

Poland is the leading IT outsourcing destination in the world. Currently, there are over 50,000 IT companies on the market, most of which started operating after 2011. This number does not decrease. One of the biggest reasons for this huge growth is the excellent technical and logistical infrastructure.

When it comes to digital connectivity, more and more companies are turning to cloud solutions to help manage their teams and run their day-to-day operations efficiently. In 2009, the DevOps role was created to build, integrate and maintain the infrastructure.

Diversity

In big cities, Outsourcing companies have technology parks, which means they can offer developers world-class business facilities. Personaly working as a Business Development Manager, I can say that we are going out to markets all over Europe every day and also explore the US market, where Polish programmers are in demand.

Let's not forget gender diversity either. More and more companies are asking to recruit women for Programming positions. More and more Women have tried their hand at IT. That's amazing! Personally, working as a Woman in the IT industry, I will be happy to place Ladies on incomming projects. Do not be afraid, apply!

Economy and rapid development

In recent years, a stable return of the Polish economy has been recorded. And the World Bank classifies Poland as a "high-income economy", which currently ranks 22nd in the world (in terms of GDP). Moreover, Poland also performs well in terms of the ease of doing business index and ranks 40th (Statista, 2020) in the world.

The conclusion is that Poland is a very good place to develop skills from the IT sector.
